Worship
Worship service at Mercy Anglican Church combines a relaxed, comfortable feeling of being in someone’s home with a reverent engagement of ancient liturgical Christian prayers and practices found in the Book of Common Prayer.
Each week, you can expect corporate reading and teaching of scripture, a mix of hymns and contemporary worship songs, thoughtful discussion, time for corporate and personal reflection & prayer, engaging experiences with the church calendar, and Eucharist. Adults and kids of all ages are invited to participate in each aspect of the liturgy, although after worship music, ages three and up are invited upstairs to participate in Kids Church. You can learn more about our kids ministry here
We invite you to join us every second, third, and fourth Sunday of the month for our Sunday liturgy. We begin with coffee and bagels at 10:15 a.m. and then start our liturgy at 10:30 a.m.
The first and fifth Sundays are reserved for time with family, rest, and individual expressions of worship outside of the church building. We sometimes plan a group breakfast, hike, or activity for these weeks as the calendar allows. This rhythm emphasizes our value of connecting with God through family and loved ones, nature, and other church bodies and leaves space for us to make these relationships a priority.
